ADE Design of Logical Circuit Practical Answers for SPPU Exam |
Aim: The purpose of this experiment is to design and implement a combinational logic circuit that will decade a 4-bit BCD input to a seven- segment LCD display
Apparatus Required:- IC 7447 (or IC7448), 7 segment display (common anode). Patch chords, Digital Trainer kit.
Theory: A decoder is a Combinational circuit that conn- ects the binary information from 'n' input lines to a maximum of 2" unique output lines. A Seven-segment decoder is a logic circuit often used for the visual display of digital information. BCD is the acronym Fox Binary coded Decimal. A BCD to seven-segment decoder will will allow the display of a binary coded decimal on a seven- Segment display. The input to the decoder is a number from 0 through 9 in BCD and the output. provides the seven inputs required to drive the seven-segment display.
